Jean has been a real estate broker for over 25 years. As the principle broker and president, Jean formed Brooklyn Bridge Realty, LTD in 1996, and has not only helped numerous families find their dream homes, but has also supported the revitalization of Brooklyn neighborhoods, including the blossoming of new stores on Court Street, Smith Street and Atlantic Avenue. Jean has used her office for everything from ?get out the vote? campaigns to raising money for local schools with phone-a-thons into the wee hours. A resident of Brooklyn since 1983, Jean has been a champion of her community. She is involved in the Buildings and Ground Committee (BHMS) , is a member of the Court Street Merchant Association, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and the Real Estate Board of New York. Jean previously served as a board member of the Brooklyn Heights Montessori School. Jean?s other neighborhood passion has been her work with the Gowanus Canal Development Corporation (GCCDC) where she served as the first woman chairperson for the organization from 2007 until 2010. During Jean?s tenure GCCDC launched a revamped website with the capability of allowing the organization to reach out to the Greater Gowanus Community. She continues to work with the GCCDC and sits on the Executive Board as Secretary. Projects aimed at the creation of senior and affordable housing, along with numerous other initiatives continue to be of focus.
